When my employer relocated me to Indianapolis, I met Steve and he helped me find our new home. Once he understood what I was looking for, he took me to the right home that was in a great location. It was quick, smooth and actually enjoyable. He took a real genuine interest in me and my children. His negotiation skills were impressive because every time it looked like the sellers would not budge another inch, Steve seemed to know how far he could push them and their Realtor without things blowing up. I ended up getting the home for the exact price and tems that I had to have. About 1 year after I bought the home, I had to sell and move back home. Everyone told me that I was going to lose money because I had only been in the home for about a year. I called Steve and he told me to relax. He said we bought the home at a really good price (his negotiations were the reason) and it was in a good location (again his doing because I knew nothing about the area when I first moved there) we weren't going to lose any money. That's almost unheard of in Indiana. Again, the sale of my home was smooth and quick. After hearing all of the realtor horror stories, I now know that who you hire to represent you is very important and if you hire the wrong one, it will cost you big. |

I have learned that any real estate agent can put a sign in someone's yard or drive buyers around looking at houses, but rarely do you find an agent that has built a respectable business.
